Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter Supports Children’s Coat Drive

On December 9, 2017, the Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter supports the 5th Annual Fall Harvest Children’s Coat Drive and Giveaway in partnership with the Fort Wayne Police Department.
The event helped ensure that children throughout the Fort Wayne community were prepared for the winter season. The Fort Wayne Deltas assisted with organizing donations, sorting coats, and preparing items for distribution.
Chapter members also worked directly with families to help children find coats that fit properly and reflected their individual style. The hands-on support helped create an organized and welcoming experience for everyone involved.
The coat drive demonstrated the value of community partnership and practical service. By supporting the Fort Wayne Police Department and other participating organizations, the Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter helped meet an immediate need for local children and families.
