FORT WAYNE ALUMNAE CHAPTER
DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY, INCORPORATED

YOUTH PROGRAMS
Empowering young people through leadership, scholarship, service, and personal growth.
The Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter’s youth programs are designed to help participants build confidence, strengthen academic focus, develop leadership skills, and recognize their ability to make a positive impact in their communities. Thoughtfully crafted to equip young girls with the tools and support they need to embrace their inner strength and inherent worth, each session is designed to leave participants with a renewed sense of positivity, purpose, and Black girl magic.

Dr. Betty Shabaaz Delta Academy
Ages 11-14
The Delta Academy program remains one of the Sorority’s most influential programs, as it embodies all aspects of our mission and is reflective of what our Founders stood for. Delta chapters across the world are teaching our young girls how to be healthy, ambitious and confident leaders, as they strive for academic excellence. We want our girls to embrace their girl power on purpose.

Dr. Jeanne L. Noble GEMS Institute
Ages 14-18
Growing & Empowering Myself Successfully, known as Delta GEMS, is a natural expansion of Delta Academy. Through interactive lessons and activities, participants are encouraged to pursue academic excellence, set meaningful goals, develop leadership skills, and engage in community service.
