The Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter has a longstanding commitment to social action and civic engagement. The Chapter works to educate, inform, and mobilize the community while maintaining a nonpartisan approach.

The Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter honors a longstanding legacy of civic engagement and advocacy. In 1963, members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated helped organize the March on Washington and joined thousands in Washington, D.C. advocating for civil and human rights. Today, the Chapter continues that legacy through voter education, civic participation, legislative awareness, and community advocacy.
