President Dawn Clopton Highlights NPHC Impact on Living Local 15
Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter President Dawn Clopton appeared on Living Local 15 alongside representatives of the Greater Fort Wayne National Pan-Hellenic Council to discuss the legacy and community impact of historically Black fraternities and sororities.
During the segment, hosted by Jessica Williams, President Clopton represented the Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and shared how local National Pan-Hellenic Council organizations work collectively to serve the Fort Wayne community.
The conversation highlighted efforts centered on civic engagement, education, cultural awareness and community unity. It also demonstrated the value of collaboration among the nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations collectively known as the Divine Nine.
During the segment, the group also previewed the upcoming Unity Lighting, scheduled for November 25, 2024, at McKinnie Commons. The annual holiday tradition will bring community members together for an evening of light, warmth, and celebration as Fort Wayne welcomes the holiday season in a spirit of unity.
