2025 Spirit of Excellence Awards Honor Faith and Service

The Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated proudly hosted its 2025 Spirit of Excellence Awards on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at New Covenant Worship Center.

The signature event honored Black churches and ministry leaders whose faith, leadership, and commitment to service have made a lasting impact throughout Fort Wayne. Through heartfelt nominations and public voting, community members helped recognize those who consistently uplift others and strengthen the city through ministry and service.

The celebration reflected Fort Wayne’s rich faith tradition while highlighting the vital role churches and spiritual leaders play in supporting families, neighborhoods, and the broader community.
