New Beginnings: Supporting Mothers and Babies

Chapter members assembled care kits filled with baby essentials, toiletries, and other practical items to support new mothers and their babies.

Although the pandemic required many plans to change, the chapter’s commitment to service remained strong. The completed kits were donated to Healthier Moms and Babies, a local organization dedicated to improving maternal and infant health throughout the Fort Wayne community.

The effort reflected the power of sisterhood, compassion, and responsive service during a time of uncertainty. Through this collective work, the Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated helped support healthier beginnings for local mothers and babies.
