The Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter hosted its inaugural Red Shoe Brunch, recognizing six women whose leadership, service, and community impact reflected Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.


Honorees were recognized in the following areas:


  • Economic Development: Dr. Rae Pearson

  • Educational Development: Andrenette Montgomery

  • International Awareness and Involvement: Martha Hatch

  • Physical and Mental Health: Denise Jordan

  • Political Awareness and Involvement: Michelle Chambers and Courtney Tritch


Through the Red Shoe Brunch, the chapter celebrated women whose work strengthened the Fort Wayne community and demonstrated the importance of leadership in action.
